Position: J2EE Deeloper exp with JMS, MQ Expert Location: Harrisburg, PA Start Date: Immediate Duration: 6+ months The client is working on a WebSphereMQ upgrade and needs a J2EE, JMS, MQ expert with previous experience working on an MQ upgrade to work on this project. Upgrading from WebSphere MQ 5.X and 6.0 to WebSphere MQ 7.0. Candidate must meet the following minimum technical requirements to be considered for an interview: - Strong development skills with JMS and IBM WebSphereMQ (formerly known as MQSeries). - Strong administration skills with IBM WebSphereMQ, including setup of Queue Managers, queues, channels; performance optimization, such as log file size, primary and secondary log files, etc. Experience with WebSphereMQ version 6.0 required. Prefer: Experience with IBM WebSphereMQ 7.0. - 3+ years working with JMS and IBM webSphereMQ. - 5+ years working with Java. - Prefer: Experience with Nastel M6 MQ monitoring and JMX server. - Strong understanding of middleware messaging technologies and infrastructure management.
