Role: J2EE programmer Length: 6 Months
Location: Wilmington, DE *Face to Face is must* A J2EE programmer is required to enhance, support and assist in future implementations of the POS (Point Of Sales) Application. POS is a Web Based insurance policy entry system which is used by agents and business partner sales representatives to enter insurance applications, issue and submit policies to our backend systems. *Related responsibilities include:* • Participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle • Prepare technical documentation. • Work on all different layers of the application, including UI front end and server back end. • Develop system and object models to support proposed architecture. • Develop SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data access. • Contribute to the development and execution of unit, system, integration, stress and user acceptance testing. • Analyze and Resolve complex production issues *Qualifications:* • 5 years J2EE development experience • Familiar with Struts, XML, Web Services and AJAX • Familiar with OO methodology and OO development cycle. • Good analytical skills and problem solving. • Able to work independently in a team environment. • Good oral and written communication skills. • Ability to understand business requirement; insurance industry is a plus -- Best Regards Kumar -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
