*Job Title : PERL development (not a scripter) with Sybase Location : Boston, MA Duration : 12 Months+ Rate : Market* PERL development (not a scripter) with Sybase Financial applications Applications work as opposed to web development. Skills: Perl, Unix, Sybase or Oracle A major Investment firm in the Boston, MA area is looking to grow its Financial Engineering Group by hiring one full-time employee, and one technical consultant. The team has quickly grown to about 20-25 people, and they are looking to expand! The ideal candidates will be Perl Developers who are sound technologists, and who are experienced in Sybase under Unix environments. Experience developing with C++ is a very strong plus, but the most important skill, however, will be Perl development (not scripting.) While the client would prefer experience with Sybase, it will also consider candidates with strong backgrounds in Oracle.
