Hello Partners, Please go through the following requirement i have with my client and let me know if you have any suitable resume.
*Title*: Java and JMS messaging *Location*: NYC or San Mateo, CA *Duration*: Long Term *Rate*: Open *Description*: *Responsibilities* 1. Enhance existing FIS application (FIX Tag <--> FIX XML mapping tool) when requested by traders. This usually happens when traders need to send or receive a new piece of information that has not been mapped yet. The application is in Java, thus knowledge of Java and JMS messaging is a big plus. 2. Modify / enhance various scripts that control FIX applications (FIX startup scripts, etc) as needed. 3. Address message flow issues reported by brokers and by traders - investigating disputes (i.e. order or fill rejects, etc). 4. Prepare and perform any planned broker connectivity testing. This implies communication with a FIX network (TNS, BT Radianz, CRD Network, etc), configuration of the test environment, and execution of any necessary test cases. 5. Support Disaster Recovery exercises. 6. Maintain FIX support documentation: o Broker and internal resource contacts o Troubleshooting guides o Runbooks and DR procedures o etc 7. Constantly monitor FIX connectivity status, addressing any disconnects or other communication difficulties. This requires interaction with brokers, FIX networks, and possibly opening proactive sev2 tickets. 8. Constantly monitor Sonic queues to ensure they are not getting full. 9. On a daily basis review a FIX Engine reject log. Communicate with brokers if rejects come from them - the goal should be to reduce rejects to a minimum (rejects usually imply incorrect usage of FIX protocol). On rare occasions rejects are caused by issues in our environment. FIX Support engineer should identify and escalate such issues to an appropriate AD support team. 10. On a daily basis, perform a cursory review of Appia, Sonic Bridge, IBM MQ, and FIS error logs to ensure there is no odd issue there. Also ensure disk space is not going to be an issue. 11. On a weekly basis, review FIX Engine error log. Identify and correct the following: o Incorrect trading session schedules. Contact broker and configure a proper schedule if error log indicates issues. o Inactive broker connections. They should be either removed from the configuration file or suspended. Otherwise they log an error every 30 seconds. 12. On a weekly basis, or as needed, maintain FIX Engine configuration file, adding and/or removing broker connections, and modifying trading session schedule *Please respond asap with the suitable resume.* *Raj Mandala* *SageIT Inc* Contact: 972-996-0650 Ext: 328 Fax: 214-619-2033 2801 Network Blvd, Suite 507, Frisco, TX 75034 r...@sageitinc.com <sub...@sageitinc.com> | www.sageitinc.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
