Role: Web Graphics Designer Rate Max: $40/hr CTC Location: GA Length: 6 months with additional extensions. Face to Face: Yes *Responsibilities:* - Create UI design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content using HTML, CSS. - Create brand-defining iconography. - Design wire-frames to reflect different design concepts for the desired applications. - Design mock-ups of key screens / application states for discussion with the client and development team. - Design HTML/CSS templates to implement planned interaction/use-cases. - Working with the development team to implement the HTML/CSS templates into the platform (i.e.: ASP.NET, Web User Controls – ASCX, Master Page(s), Site Maps) *Requirements:* - Web designer with 5 years of experience in designing of an e-Commerce web-based applications. - 3 years experience creating wire-frames UI models and mockups showing various states and user interactivity. - Possess strong web-site building skills using CSS and HTML. Thorough knowledge of HTML/CSS authoring - PhotoShop and/or similar graphic design applications. - Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.), and browser degradation strategies. - Ability to clearly present design ideas to business stakeholders. - Familiarity with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries a plus. - Experience developing logos and other graphics.
