*Job Title : SQL Server Developer
Location : Austin, Texas
Duration : 6 Month
Rate : Market*
Serve as a database developer to support the Administrative Systems using
the following development/database tools and knowledge:
Transact SQL 2000 or 2005, SQL 2000 or SQL 2005, Structured Query Language
(SQL) , and ANSI Compliant Standards. In addition,
experience with Embarcadero DB Artisan and ER Studio and Oracle 9i or 11g
would be helpful.
Develop stored procedures and functions
Develop test cases and code
Create indexes
Work closely with developers in database development using these above tools
Report activity status to the Project Manager
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience in Microsoft SQL 2000 or SQL 2005 and
Transact SQL 2000 or 2005 development and in writing stored procedures and
functions
5 Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
5 Knowledge of database development industry best
practices and standards (ANSI)
5 Experience with structured query language (SQL)
including writing stored procedures and functions
3+ Knowledge of Rational ClearCase & ClearQuest OR
similar version control software such as Microsoft Visual Source Safe
2 Knowledge of Incremental Development Methodologies
Strong Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills
and negotiating ability
Strong Experience working independently and in a
team environment
Strong Experience analyzing problems and develop
solutions
Preferences:
Experience in Embarcadero DB Artisan and ER Studio
Proven technical documentation skills in IT application development
Experience with development in accordance with Section 508 EIR Accessibility
requirements is a plus.
