Does anyone know the status of this problem? The code has changed from the
original proposed patch but I don't think I see it fixed as of yet.

I can't find an issue that was ever raised to track this either.

Hey Guru,
I am trying to get the NetworkManager to bring up my gtp-vport using
/etc/network/interfaces.d/br0 but it isn't getting added. This is my config:
allow-ovs br0
iface br0 inet dhcp
ovs_type OVSBridge
ovs_ports eth0 gre0 gtp0
allow-br0 eth0
iface eth0 inet manual
Hi Paul,
I see exactly the same behavior of OVS 2.7.0. Have it been fixed in 2.7.1+?
I have more than 13k netlink sockets open, the number is slowly growing
nearly 1200 descriptors/hour.
As of now ovsdb has ~100 bridges, ~700 ports, ~700 interfaces (1 per port).
The fix (included in 2.7.1+)
hi all,
sorry to bother, but I have a wired problem.
I have neutron and ovs in my environment, the server is alone, dhcp agent
and ovs-agent is on the same host. I create a vm, but cannot get ip. I use
tcpdump to catch the packages.
in tap device of dhcp port, it can receive the dhcp
