I have installed owfs on my linux system and all is okay, but when I tried
to mount my 1-wire I get nothing:
snoopy:/opt/owfs/bin # ./owfs -u /media/owfs
snoopy:/opt/owfs/bin # tree -a /media/owfs
/media/owfs
0 directories, 0 files
snoopy:/opt/owfs/bin # tree -a /media/owfs

You're right.
Suggestion, we have a wiki (Which I've been working on all along) with universal
access).
Why don't we have a section where people list working configurations.
