You are not reading the DS2762 but the cache. Do a
# cat /mnt/owfs/uncached/1F.F96B0800/aux/30.4CF9B812/current
instead.

I have owfs running on a Gumstix Overo Earth, with a DS9490 bus master,
which in turn is connected to a Hobby-Boards DS2409-based 8 channel hub
