I have updated the configure script and owfs's makefile to handle multiple
fuse-installations now. The installation in /usr/local/lib is used if it
exists, otherwise the default installation in /usr/lib[64] is used.

I don't know if you managed to fix the problem yourself, but the main
reason is that your new installation contains fuse-2.4 from beginning
+ you have fuse-2.5.x installed at /usr/local/include/fuse*
and /usr/local/lib/libfuse*.
