I synchronize a folder with a Linux and a Windows client.
Even after disabling the versioning, some files are downloaded every 30
seconds on the Linux side. When I delete them on the Linux side
(including the original file), they will be resynced and the conflict

Stefan, Mark, contributions are always welcome. Especially if you know your

Stefan Nagtegaal of Drupal's
ownCloud has theming support.
With custom themes you can replace any template, any image and you can extend
and override existing styles.
The idea was that it makes it a lot easier for users to just change a few

Hi,
thank you for this new (test-)version of ownCloud.
I made some first observations:
- the new GUI looks pretty cool
- LDAP does still work :) (I only had to insert objectClass=group in
the group filter. OC4.5 did not really need this)
- I synced my /lib dir (as an example for a folder with

Did you make an upgrade installation? I installed OC5 from scratch. LDAP
authentication seems to work but there's a problem with accessing the
user directories. I
As I said, you’re welcome to join in and improve the looks. We know that
the interface has its kinks, especially in the settings and in some apps.
So if you have experience with interaction design, I’m happy to help you
get contributing.

If I understand correctly, yes, this should be pretty easy. they just
need to be in different directories that are not parent/children
directories. This would work:
/usr/share/www/owncloudSecure
/usr/share/www/owncloudShare
That is just an example. You also should have two separate databases,

Yes, just put them in different folders with separate databases.
You can access them, for example, at http://servername/instance1
http://servername/instance2, etc.
There really is no difference in installation except for the path
and database name.
