That's most of us. I said it was going to be this bad 4 years ago, but it's actually turned out worse. When I go to nbn, my speed will actually drop. My brothers nbn fttp is awesome but even his download speed is lower than my 10yo Telstra cable connection. So much for the best jobs of the future

So - order a phone line and try again? If it is an consolation, I live in West End which has special South Brisbane Fibre (Telstra Velocity). When you order fibre they come out, instal fibre and the NTU. The tech then plugs a butinski into the fibre NTU to check he has dial tone and then tells

Unfortunately, getting Telstra to connect cable to our new place turned out to be a nightmare. They were beyond incompetent. And now, because it suddenly became an NBN area, they can't do it at all. And NBN Co have the 6 – 9 month delay for new connections. So we're stuffed. Telstra mobile
