Did you notice Jo that she had her baby leaning up on a bale of hay and not
flat on her back? We were discussing this today in our lecture. We also
decided she didn't have a placenta!!!

Hi Diedre
Thanks for the reply, I will give to Lynley tomorrow. I have just returned
from Ballarat from a very cold 3 days at Uni, the heaters were broken.
Lynely went to a new Chinese GP in Warracknabeal, and had a blood test for
iron and calcium levels. Both were low and she has since started
Would love to read it Tania. Hope you get
time soon.

Well off the back of
Yeah, and the baby had blood streaks on it's head... Is that normal for
a vaginal birth?
By the way, I sent a letter to TV week (as they had done an article on
the episode last week). Perhaps others could do the same.
I am glad to hear that someone got to homebirth because of Hot Property.

Please pass this on to anyone who may be
interested. I think they are trying to top America's score in the Guinness Book
of Records for having the most breastfeeding women in one place.

Hi Cas,
Re the blood streaks: they can happen in a normal birth if the labia have split a bit prior to the head being born then the blood can leave some streaks over the babies head.
I am sorry I missed that birth. 'fraid my TV reception is pretty poor (rural) and I don't watch much.

The song playing in the background was really
beautiful.
It gave me goosebumps. (I still get goosebumps from
beautiful births - and hope this never changes!!)
I watched the credits to find out the name of it but
the credits run so fast.
I THINK it was Child of mine by Troy Casser
Dayley.
I too am co sleeping with my six month old baby and am
loving every bit of it. She is my third child and I didn't do it with the
other two (don't know why). She tends to feed a lot at night
whichhasn't beena problem. However, I don't know what to do
now as I am returning to work in a month
