On annual leave so dont have all my reference material but from what I
do have, it is possible to breastfeed whilst on Lithium as long as the
infant is monitored closely for signs of toxicity as lithium passes into
breastmilk. Monitoring would include behavioural and chemical changes.
Hi! A girlfriend of mine is pregnant and due in August of this year
and is very keen for anything but a hospital birth. She has put an
application in for the birthing centre in Canberra but due to the
small capacity there, she doesn't think she'll get in! So - can anyone
point me at some midwives
In the hospital I work at we consider the women to be more at risk of
miscarriage and or pre term birth the women are looked after by the
consultants but hey also can be cared for by the midwife in conjunction
that is both see them. Cheers sharon
