I am working at the women's and children's hospital in Adelaide in a caseload model which has been running now for a year. My pay is the base rate + 30 %. This is to cover the on call and penalties, and extra responsibility. We get 6 weeks holiday per year. The caseload is 4 women per month

Unfortunately your friend is out of the catchment area to have her baby with the Midwifery group practice at the women's and children's hospital, although she can still go to the Wch delivery suite. The is an excellent birthing centre at Flinders hospital which would be closer to her. Kathy
