Hi everyone,
I've gone through the list and found a number
of emails that have bounced due to their length
and due to them being sent as formatted text.
I'll be going through them individually and
responding to the senders so they know their
emails have bounced but this is taking time due
to the large number of bounces.
The email list isn't able to deal with a lot of new
technology which means that more emails than
usual are bouncing. It's frustrating I know but
please bear with us for the moment we are
looking into new technology and a more reliable
piece of software to run the mailing list. I hope
to this up and running in January.
If you have any questions or need some help,
please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Please DON'T hit reply and send message to the
list as I may miss them. Also, if I don't get back
to you immediately, please be patient my work
load rather large but I will get back to as soon as
possible.

I know there have been complaints (and suggestions to fix it!) about
emails sent to the list not being received by everyone. It seems to
have peaked for me now. From what I can see from replies to
original emails (the originals that I never received), I'm only
receiving approximately 50% of emails sent to the list. I'm
guessing this would be even less because it's quite likely I'm not
receiving some of the replies to the original emails as well!
They are not going into my spam folder.
I really think this is now beyond 'gremlins' in the system. I often
also will receive a reply to an original email many hours BEFORE
I'll receive the original email. It has become difficult to become
involved in an ongoing discussion when you don't know about half of
what is being said.
Can I ask, does anyone actually think that they receive nearly all
the emails sent to the list without a problem?
