I think Sally's interpretation of the urge to push is fantastic. Many
women. especially primips often feel alot of pressure when they are not
fully dilated and have trouble interpreting what it is they are feeling.
As midwives we encourage them to listen to their bodies but many women
i really like this Sally and I'm sure you wont mind if I take it up, with proper reference of course

Quite a reasonable question to ask and one which i have also asked. You

I go by my own anecdotal evidence
If a woman is wanting to push, then encourage her to do what her body is
