I have got the awards for Queensland and New South Wales. Although the New
south Wales one is dated Dec 2004. These awards set out the working
conditions and include the pay rates.

I haven't worked in the public hospital system for a while now here in
Melbourne, but I believe the majority of midwives are still classified as Grade
2 Registered Nurses (Division 1) which has an hourly pay rate of between $20 -
$28 depending on years of experience (1-9). There are
