RE: [ozmidwifery] vulva varocise veins
Kristin, There is a tissue salt available called “Calc fluor”. I don’t know if you are familiar with them but you can buy them at health food stores or some pharmacies may have them in the vitamin section. The brand is “Martin & Pleasance” and they come in a bottle of 100 tablets and sell for around $8 or $9. The dose is on the side of the bottle. They are a homoeopathic formulation. Calc fluor is used for any sort of varicose veins (including haemorrhoids) – eases pain and bleeding (if any). You just chew the tablets – don’t need to be taken with water and they taste OK. OK also to use while breastfeeding. Hope this helps. Cheers, Ramona Lane Herbalist & Naturopath Nunyara Bargara Beach Qld. Re: [ozmidwifery] vulva varocise veins
My Essential oil book says that Helichrysum helps to dissolve the coagulated blood in the surrounding tissue and the Cypress helps to strengthen capillary walls. They recommend 2 drops of each, then dilute as necessary. It would have to be diluted down reasonably well in a vege oil though to use near the vulva though I imagine. Other EO's which are beneficial include: wintergreen/birch, basil, peppermint, lemon and lavender. You can get 100% theapeutic grade organic essential oils from Young Living (www.youngliving.com.au) or from New Directions (www.newdirections.com.au). I hope this is of some help. RE: [ozmidwifery] vulva varocise veins
i have a lovely big vein in my inner leg coming form my groin and in all 4 pregnancies never once caused any discomfort, which I believe is due to my yoga practice. Even when it was well and truly bulging. I only did yoga once a week but also used my bolster at home to sit on a lot. Or maybe it was never going to cause discomfort, but yoga is still good for you. cheers Megan From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kristin BeckedahlSent: Thursday, 2 November 2006 12:00 PMTo: ozmidwifery@acegraphics.com.auSubject: [ozmidwifery] vulva varocise veins Can anyone offer another remedy to help ease these besides external witch hazel?
