Subject: [ozmidwifery] weight loss

Dear wise women

I have been following a client on early discharge whose baby
is losing weight. Now about 2 weeks old, I readmitted her on day 5 as bub was
lethargic, had not had a bowel movement and had lost weight. She expressed, fed
and topped up, bub 'woke up' and put on weight, started opening bowels and
generally improved all round, went home again fully breast feeding, seems to
have plenty of milk, plenty of wet nappies but again - no poo's, and on last 2
visits had lost weight, 50g then another 40g. Has not regained birth weight yet
and does not seem satisfied despite frequent b/f. I will be seeing her
again tomorrow and am frankly puzzled by this scenario. She is on medication
herself for epilepsy (low dose Tegretol and another that I can't remember) and
has been taking Motilium to boost supply.

Any suggestions/comments?

TIA Sue

colour is mauve, $600
* small stainless steel kidney dish 12 cm x 25 cm $10 as new
* pregnancy rocker - made in NZ, according to Optimal fetal positioning
guidelines, black leather seats, fully demountable, includes extra pegs,
excellent condition $400 Great for turning OPs.
I also have a variety of books for sale - one box left. Email me at

I live in northern NSW, near Mullumbimby. I regularly travel to Tweed Heads
area and to Brisbane almost every Saturday morning. I am willing to
post/courier these items, but will need purchaser to cover cost of same. I
will endeavour to find the cheapest way to send it, and will package it
carefully.

Hello Nancy,

Yes you can advertise this equipment. Whilst this is not a regular
advertising space (EBAY has this sewn up!), now and then a good
cause comes along and we are happy to help.

I am sure you will find some buyers

Andrea

Please let me know if this is possible.

[ozmidwifery] RE: OP

2006-01-18 Thread Nancy San Martin
Hi Jo,
Have you read any of Jean Sutton's work? She wrote a book called Optimal
Fetal Positioning in which she describes all about OP causes and
prevention. She also designed a Pregnancy Rocker to aid in the prevention of
OP from 34 weeks onward.

Any more info about the Pregnancy rocker ...email me at

stubborn OP presentations and the links with premature pushing urges?
Much appreciated
