I just saw an invoice for a CTG machine that we are getting at work and
it is $27,000 and NOT telemetric... It has an automatic blood pressure
monitor etc for all our epiduralised women though. ;)

I have had access to these for women before in
Seattle, and thought they were excellent in circumstances were you were
required to have continuous monitoring but the mum was ambulatory, however
most staff here are not impressed by them primarily I expect
You'll have to excuse my ignorance butt.. what is a telemetric CTG compared to the standard contraption?
