Kind of like mother friendly childbirth
initiative (http://www.motherfriendly.org/MFCI/steps/),
except mother becomes woman to include a midwife.
Sounds nice.

Dear Andrea
Words, their overt and unrecognised implications were quite evident last
night as ever in the dialogue about birth
I found myself remembering Michell Odent's talking of the origin of
Obstetrician and Midwife last nite !
I wonder when Dr M's attitude that birth is a disaster

I don't think the 7:30 report segment was all that bad. I only caught
the last 1/2 of it though. When I read the transcript, I noticed that
you got your title, but there was no 'Dr' infront of Peter Mourik's name
;)
I wrote a little letter to the 7:30 report guestbook.

Dear Sally,
You and the Ryde Birth Centre still looked terrific
to me. Liked how the one Ob. supported Midwives in the 7.30 report
to relinquish birth to the rightful owners,
the parents, we are just the facilitators after all.
