Rhonda:   It is a pity the whole gestational diabetes situation wasn't discussed with your friend, so that she would understand why she is finger pricking etc. Sometimes the only way to disprove the test result is to document the  finger pricks. Sometimes a repeat GTT (glucose tolerance test)
