Do you get any error in the crawl logs?
I would try crawling the link seperately to isoloate the issue and make sure
the crawler can index the page.

Yea there is nothing in the crawl log that shows those URLs.
I have been isolating it.
The username/password is passed in a Query String, which is working OK in 2007
but in 2010 I am getting this warning:
Item not crawled due to one of the following reasons: Preventive crawl rule;
Specified
Hmm...SharePoint crawler has some know issues..
I faced some access denied issues but was slightly different to your problem.

Did you try using a crawl rule with a different content access
