Sorry. Premature send. I'm then wanting to get the new hidden view instance so I can update it's Query but am getting stuck. I can see the wp's ViewGuid and ViewId. So I try to grab the new view but it returns null. :\ $guid = $listViewWebPart.ViewGuid; $view = $list.Views[$guid]; Any help plea

Hi all, I have added an XSLTListView wp to a page with a custom view. It has the following the Query value. *XXX* I then update the list to account for the new hidden view and regrab the webpart's current view ID. Regards, Paul _

Hi Ishai, That's what I did in order to determine which ones to use. I'm using the Filter Values type for both. *SPSlicerTextWebPart Provider Points* AllowsMultipleConnections : True ControlType : Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.SPSlicerTextWebPart InterfaceType
