-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2018-6fb5fb53f3 2018-03-13 23:10:46.414252 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : xfsprogs Product : Fedora 27 Version : 4.15.1 Release : 1.fc27 URL : http://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/ Summary : Utilities for managing the XFS filesystem Description : A set of commands to use the XFS filesystem, including mkfs.xfs. XFS is a high performance journaling filesystem which originated on the SGI IRIX platform. It is completely multi-threaded, can support large files and large filesystems, extended attributes, variable block sizes, is extent based, and makes extensive use of Btrees (directories, extents, free space) to aid both performance and scalability. Refer to the documentation at http://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/ for complete details. This implementation is on-disk compatible with the IRIX version of XFS. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This is an updated xfsprogs which has features in line with 4.15 or newer kernels. In particular, this version has a new experimental utility, xfs_scrub, which can do the equivalent of an online fsck -n to check for filesystem consistency errors. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program. Use su -c 'dnf upgrade xfsprogs' at the command line. For more information, refer to the dnf documentation available at http://dnf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/command_ref.html#upgrade-command-label All packages are signed with the Fedora Project GPG key.
