Name : mozilla-https-everywhere Product : Fedora 23 Version : 5.2.7 Release : 2.fc23 URL : https://eff.org/https-everywhere Summary : HTTPS/HSTS enforcement extension for Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey Description : HTTPS Everywhere is a Firefox extension produced as a collaboration between The Tor Project and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It encrypts your communications with a number of major websites. Many sites on the web offer some limited support for encryption over HTTPS, but make it difficult to use. For instance, they may default to unencrypted HTTP, or fill encrypted pages with links that go back to the unencrypted site. The HTTPS Everywhere extension fixes these problems by rewriting all requests to these sites to HTTPS. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Selected changes since 5.1.9: * Ruleset fixes * Firefox: Expanding SSL Observatory popup window * Bugfix release: fix CSS to prevent large icons * Updating icons * 'Block all unencrypted requests' now allows requests to .onion addresses -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #1396603 - broken F24-F25/rawhide upgrade path due to mozilla-https-everywhere-5.1.9 (or newer) missing in F25+ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1396603 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
