Name : openal-soft Product : Fedora 27 Version : 1.18.2 Release : 5.fc27 URL : http://kcat.strangesoft.net/openal.html Summary : Open Audio Library Description : OpenAL Soft is a cross-platform software implementation of the OpenAL 3D audio API. It's built off of the open-sourced Windows version available originally from the SVN repository at openal.org. OpenAL provides capabilities for playing audio in a virtual 3d environment. Distance attenuation, doppler shift, and directional sound emitters are among the features handled by the API. More advanced effects, including air absorption, low-pass filters, and reverb, are available through the EFX extension. It also facilitates streaming audio, multi-channel buffers, and audio capture. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: - New upstream 1.18.2 bugfix release - Various spec-file cleanups - Allow pulseaudio to move openal-soft output streams -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #1544381 - Let openal "allow moving streams" by default with pulseaudio https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1544381 [ 2 ] Bug #1544012 - pull request: spec cleanups https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1544012 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
