Although, I am a little confused how that works. In what part of the RPM spec
file does the Python dependency generator know to pull in those packages? Is it
because `BuildRequires: python3-devel`? I am curious to understand why so I
won't make the same mistake in the future. Understanding why this is will help
me remember. :)

 - As I said before, adding these is not necessary as it is handled by the
Python dependency generator:

Requires:   python3
Requires:   python3-docopt
Requires:   python3-requests

Package is approved, please fix the aforementioned issue before import.

Hi, so do you suggest just dropping the `python3-dialog` Requires?

 - This should not be necessary, it is handled by the Python dependency
generator:

Requires:   python3
Requires:   python3-docopt
Requires:   python3-requests

rpm -q --requires -p protonvpn-cli-2.2.2-5.fc33.noarch.rpm   | sort -f | uniq
-c
  1 /usr/bin/python3
  1 openvpn
  1 python(abi) = 3.8
  1 python3.8dist(docopt)
  1 python3.8dist(pythondialog)
  1 python3.8dist(requests)
  1 python3.8dist(setuptools)
  1 rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1
  1 rpmlib(FileDigests) <= 4.6.0-1
  1 rpmlib(PartialHardlinkSets) <= 4.0.4-1
  1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
  1 rpmlib(PayloadIsZstd) <= 5.4.18-1

As you can see python3-dialog is also required by the dependency generator.

--- Comment #2 from Justin W. Flory  ---
Hi Artur, thanks for taking a close look at the package. I updated the package
and built it from the updated SPEC in COPR:

Spec URL:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jwflory/rpmbuild/master/rpmbuild/SPECS/protonvpn-cli.spec
SRPM URL:
https://github.com/jwflory/rpmbuild/blob/master/rpmbuild/SRPMS/protonvpn-cli-2.2.2-5.fc31.src.rpm?raw=true
COPR Build: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/build/1309136

I'll update the docs when I make a PR to the upstream README when this package
is available.

Those are not used in Fedora.
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/#_tags_and_sections

The Requires: match what's mentioned in the upstream README, but looking at
"requirements.txt", you're missing a Requires for python3-requests and
python3-docopt. Maybe ask about this upstream?
