Correct, don’t forget to clear the pfconfig cache regarding the old
configuration (once the good Configuration is in place):
/usr/local/pf/bin/pfcmd fixpermissions
/usr/local/pf/bin/pfcmd pfconfig clear_backend
systemctl restart packetfence-config
/usr/local/pf/bin/pfcmd configreload hard
I already have the cluster healthy and established. Could I just shutdown
the pf services, reconfigure the networking, edit pf.conf, cluster.conf and
any relevant /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts and reboot?

Hello Christian,
Use the previous IPs of the standalone server as Virtual IPs on the cluster and
you don’t need to reconfigure all your network equipments.
Use a temporary VIPs to create your cluster, once you are ready, use the old
standalone IPS as new VIPs of the cluster.
Thanks,
Ludovic
I've got an interesting situation. What's the safest way to move a
management interface on a 3 node cluster from one vNIC to another without
breaking things? Downtime is fine. Thanks.
