Hello Daniel,

Is this happening with every android device? every version?

Is your provisioning configured on the default portal profile?

How is the device detected in the node list?

If you try to manually change the role of the device in the nodes lists, does the device have access to what it should?

Thank you

Hi All,

We’ve upgraded to 5.6.

Have two SSIDs (& vlans), one for registration, the other is hidden secure.

Our portal profile & provisioners are working OK for IOS & Windows.

Devices are pushed to the secure SSID & vlan once registered.

We are now stuck on the Android testing.

Device registers OK, but can’t receive role or provisioner to progress any further.

Upon registration, Packetfence.log shows:

Is this a geographical issue? Browser? Device? Fingerbank?

We are in Australia.

The user agent of the registered device is:

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.4.2; en-us; SAMSUNG SM-T805Y Build/KOT49H) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/1.5 Chrome/28.0.1500.94 Safari/537.36

Have tried creating a local entry in Fingerbank User Agent database, but no change.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan
