This issue was already been fixed by Kodi developers.
Kodi 17.3 was released and the update was pushed to Packman earlier today.

Your build of Kodi 17.2 of May 24 for Opensuse is broken because this version
of Kodi uses regex support from gcc-4.9 with full C++-11. Supported version of
bcc on Leap 42.2 is gcc-4.8. 4.8 does not support regex correctly. So program
crashes on startup.
