Should we substitute our packages? (and if kdenlive ends in Factory
stop building it at all for 12.1)

Since in my home repo I don't care for anything but the latest release
and Factory they fail to build even for 11.4, but that should be
 easily fixable.
Seems like a perfect fit for KDE:Distro:Factory ;-)

The problem with K:D:F is that KDE packages build there depend on the
KDE version from there. So you can't use kdenlive from K:D:F without
 updating all of KDE.
It should also be built in... KDE:UpdatedApps? That's supposed to be
for apps that are already in Factory. KDE:Apps? That one is empty!

What about KDE:Extra? That is for apps that are not in Factory.

As for libmlt, it is in multimedia:libs already. That is probably the
proper long-term home for it. KDE:Extra can link to it from there if
it is going into factory.

[packman] MLT going to KDE:Distro:Factory (and Factory?), link package?

saschpe decided to take the packages from my home repo to
KDE:Distro:Factory (https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/107172,
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/107175). Not sure if they are
supposed to go to Factory (saschpe?)

Why not, but I'd prefer to keep building it in the Packman
repository for a while, as people are used to finding it there
:)

Yes, we'd have to fix it for 11.4 for sure.

cheers
