Re: [packman] Publish Leap 42.3
Hi Olaf, please excuse the late reply, I am on vacation and only seldom near a computer. You are right, I manually pushed the 42.3 packages some minutes ago, and restarted the publisher - which I forgot mid-June, after the configuration change for 42.3. Now everything should be published automatically. This was apparently a one-time operation: http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.2/ http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/ The timestamps for 42.3 did not change since then. No, you do not need to ask everyone. I have to enable publishing on PMBS to the staging server. For that to work I have to change certain settings on the staging server and test these. All this takes time, of with I have very few at the moment. Please be patient. What needs to be done to change that? I have now checked all (reasonably reachable) mirrors in my area, but none carries repositories for openSUSE_Leap_42.3. Do we have to ask all maintainers of the mirrors to _please_ add openSUSE_Leap_42.3 to their mirrors? I fully agree here! When will we get packman packages for 42.3? This would dramatically help testing the upcoming Leap 42.3 release and ensure no (or not too many) unknowns will arise when we'll be forced (again) to upgrade from 42.2 to 42.3... ;) .
