On my Thinkpad laptop running XP, now with SP2, one day, 1-2 years ago, the USB 
HotSync stopped working. For all of our various Palm/Sony devices. My USB 
printer, memory key, mouse and RS-232 converter all work fine, but the HotSync 
Manager doesn't do anything, as if it could no longer see the USB port (it's 
checked in the list though.) PilotInstall either can't see my devices. I can 
still sync/install through IR, but I miss USB for on-device debugging, 
especially now that I must fix a Bluetooth bug that only seems to happen on 
some (real) TX devices. I re-installed various versions of the Palm 
Desktop/HotSync Manager combo over time, up to the latest (Desktop 6.2.2 - 
HotSync7.0.2), to no avail. Suggestions?
