A hierarchical font format makes sense and I was surprised I didn't see anything in
the docs about it (or the forum archives, as far as I looked anyway). Will PalmOS

I've written a little Hiragana/Katakana flashcard app and created my
own custom kana fonts (from the PD Kana/Kanji fonts used by JWPce,
etc). However, I'm looking to add some more functionality and am
