Yes, I realised it. I am sorry. I just happened to not remember the
parallel mail id. Hence, I first searched for it in my inbox and instead of
copying the mail id, I happened to reply to it.

considered bad netiquette to start a new topic by replying to an existing

Today I had to split a 200 GB gz-file into smaller files. The file
contained records of 4 lines, so I had to unpack the .gz file, chop at a 4
line limit around 10 MB and gzip the chunk under a unique name:
