[Paraview] Dashboard night/master ubuntu x84

2012-08-14 Thread Karl König
Hi,

I noticed something weird while checking Dashboard results for section
Nightly (master): While the builds with names

  Master-Win64-vs9-shared
  Win7x64-vs10-shared

report during the CMake configure step:

  Determined Source Version : 3.14.1-1532-gdfc2396

the build named ubuntu-x64-nightlymaster reports a much older version:

  Determined Source Version : 3.12.0

(See http://open.cdash.org/viewConfigure.php?buildid=2514474 for full log.)

Basically my question is: what source version is really tested by the
build named ubuntu-x64-nightlymaster on site Blight.kitware?

Thanks
Karl

It's running into git issues for some reason and indeed testing an old
version. I'll check it out. Thanks for catching it.

Re: [Paraview] Copy sources repeatedly with Programmable Filter

2012-08-14 Thread Magician
Hi Hal,

Thanks again for your reply.
I've been trying almost all of the filters, but I didn't know
how to use the Glyph With Custom Source filter.

Applying the filter to plane source with any PolyData,
I got good results.

What I want to do is:
 1. Read or generate one source (Box, Sphere, or other PolyData)
 2. Copying it repeatedly (hundreds of copies, along both x and y axes)

Have you tried the Glyph With Custom Source?

 Good morning,

I have just found the following bug report about a mistake in the
 Q-criterion formula.
 http://paraview.org/Bug/view.php?id=12858
 that is now closed.

However, the 1/2 factor may still be missing.
In vtkGradientFilter.cxx, in the VTK/Grahpics directory, on the line 65,
t1 should be divided by 2. (Paraview 3.14.1)

 Should I re-open the bug report ?

 With best regards,

 Aurélien
