Role: Scala Developer
Location: Bentonville, AR (Remote)
We are seeking a Remote Scala Developer to join one of our largest clients.
You will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented developers in
one of the most recognizable brands in the world.
Project Details – Size, Scale, Scope?
The application is financial – every day finances what Client undergoes.
Each store reports their finances to them.
They use Kafka because they’re communicating with each other.
Base language is Scala.
They’re using light bend technology called Akka – they need Akka here. API
development – they use play framework in the light bend family and written
in Scala.
Cassandra and CosmosDB and they use Azure cloud for deployments. Azure –
need to know CI/CD.
Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is needed.
Akka need streams, clusters
