members of the PAC they ought to have known better. PAC members and
leaders across all structures need to adopt a self-healing process based on
principled unity, time dictates upon the PAC members and structures to
refrain from anything that internally consumes PAC, thus weakening the
fighting strength and organisation of the PAC thereby undermining the
party's capabilities to execute its main and primary central political task.
Surely, without pointing fingers, as PAC of today post 1994 political
dispensation, we have completely forgotten about the PAC's purpose of
existence and its programmes. A radical shift-a rupture is required from an
organisational culture that has dwarfed and thwarted the PAC, a new
organisational revolutionary culture of activism across all members,
structures and leaders is needed, the PAC can and should be raised higher by
vocal selfless party activists across all party structures namely
NEC-PEC-REC-BEC-BRANCHES through mass based campaigns.
Lastly, If we want to win, we must do a great deal more. We must lead the
peasants' struggle for land and distribute the land to them, heighten their
labour enthusiasm and increase agricultural production, safeguard the
interests of the workers, establish co-operatives, develop trade with
outside areas, and solve the problems facing the masses -- food, shelter and
clothing, fuel, rice, cooking oil and salt, sickness and hygiene, and
marriage. In short, all the practical problems in the masses' everyday life
should claim our attention. If we attend to these problems, solve them and
satisfy the needs of the masses, we shall really become organizers of the
well-being of the masses, and they will truly rally round us and give us
their warm support. Comrades, will we then be able to arouse them to take
part in the revolutionary war? Yes, indeed we will. These are fitting words
for us as PAC today, they were articulated by Chairman Mao.
There can be no revolution without the masses, There will be no revolution
without the support of the masses, PAC will remain a below 0.5% performance
party in elections as long as the masses are not with PAC! As long as we
fail as PAC to deal with the immediate issues facing the masses daily. Since
July 2012 national congress until July 2013 which twelve full months our
scattered actions are insignificant and uncoordinated toward a common
objective, this situation can be turned around!
On behalf of many known and unknown members of the PAC, we hope the PAC
Constitution and Disciplinary code will be respected and adhered to the
latter words and texts.
We hope that these words fell on fertile soil and will bear fruits of/for
progress of the PAC.
