Hi list,
can anyone send me a list of the short keys you can use in goldwave? Haven't
used it in ages and forgot all about it.

Hi Lary,
you could use CDEX to re-convert the tracks, but I wouldn't recommend it
because you will always lose a bit of the sound quality when you do that.
What your friend probably meant was if you encoded wav or cda-files into
mp3.

Open a file, go to the menu, cursor right to tools, cursor down to
cuepoints, enter. Tab to auto cue, and enter.
There you can change some settings like the length of the gap. For cd's that
are recorded in one track it would usually be two seconds.
After having confirmed your settings with ok,
I have the version 5.06 of goldwave, and jaws 5.0884. Could someone either
tell me where to get the scripts, or send them to me? Thanks. Glenna

hi, i'm simply running a cable from the line out of the cad to the line in
on the hi-fi. i've not changed any settings in any of m players, real,
windows media etc, and the hi-fi settings are also exactly the same as
before. this is why i was concerned about the audio quality. i'll try those
I have Easy Cd Creator and nero both on the same system and it is working
fine. This is on an XP pro system. I did not do anything out of the
ordinary but I did install Nero first so that may be something to try.

O.k. thanks.
I love WINAMP but have to use MS-Windows Media Player as I have 5.1 speakers
which consist of 5 satalights and a sub woofer. If I use WINAMP, the sound
only comes out of two of the satalights and the sub woofer but MS-Windows
Media Player will output sound to all of them.
Take care
It sounds to like as if the CD wasn't finalised. there is an option that
will put the end markers in etc I think. This means that the CD is finished
with and makes it more compatible.

PC-Audio List Help,
I to like this program, but would like to know if anyone else has problems
when using it to convert .ogg to .MP3? It will often convert only a portion
of the file cutting off at any random point for seemingly no reason. If it's
something I'm doing I'd like not to be.

There is a program called Musicutter available from
http://musicutter.szm.sk that will allow you to join Ogg files. I
haven't tried it so I don't know how accessible it is.
