Where do you get what from? You don't say and you didn't include the message

from http://nch.com.au/switch/plus.html.

Hi Kathey. Did you ever check out the software control panel for the Turtle
Beach Audio Advantage SRM? This looks like a very nice laptop audio device
so I'm curious about advanced controls.

I just found another audio interface that may be what some of us are looking
for. It is the Cakewalk V-Studio 100.
The description sounds a lot like the Edirol FA-66 but with inputs and
outputs plus hardware mixer with motorised faders and daw controls on the
top. It even has some built in

If you mean the user settings folder then ok, but that does not make
difference, but if you mean the personalized settings folder under

Well, Robert, below, points us to other external solutions for mixing and
getting around inaccessible control panel software. I just wonder how many
folk here have used control surfaces and external mixer combinations

I have Winamp 5.56 installed on my netbook and use System Access as the screen
reader. I did the installation as a light one, as I don't have much drive
space. I play the music from a networked storage drive.
All works well with the exception of the playlist window. All I get for each

Hi. Have any of you used DRM removal programs with Jaws successfully? If so,
which have you used? I purchased SoundTaxi pro only to find that it does not
work well for jaws users. I also tried protected music converter pro which
keeps telling me that I do not have the licenses I need to convert

Trying to convert some .ogg files to .mpc files. Switch isn't doing it. Any

Hi,
I have over 700 cds ripped to flac format, and would like to batch convert the
whole lot to mp3, using the lame encoder, for playback on various portable
devices.
I'd be interested in any recommendations on software which will reliably
accomplish this, and works well with window eyes.
Hi Tim. Might some of the cds I gave you a few years ago be among those for
conversion? If you have Sound Forge, the batch converter within the program
works quite well for what you want to do. They do have a stand-alone
download of the batch converter, but I don't think it's the same thing, or
Switch from http://nch.com.au/switch/plus.html supports these file types and
supports batch processing. I use it with JAWS, but the interface looks
simple enough, I don't see why it wouldn't work with Window Eyes. It also
has a command line interface, which could be used in a batch file. It looks
Does anyone have an idea why the noise reduction plugIns in Sound Forge pro
10 are all grayed out? I see from the web site that these are included, but
when I looked at the program directory, I didn't see anything that looked
like noise reduction plug-in stuff.
Thanks for any ideas...

Sorry, but I use SoundTaxi Pro with JAWS. I think I had to use the JAWS
cursor originally to get it set up, but now whenever I start SoundTaxi Pro
it comes up in the file wizard and once I select the file(s) I want to
convert it just starts the conversion process. I use the JAWS cursor to

My guess is you simpy haven't installed the noise reduction plug-in which is
why it's greyed out. It is probably a separate download or on another CD if
you have a CD version of SF.

It quite depends. If you are using WMP 11, then most likely you'll have a
tough time getting it to work. If you are using WMP 10 or lower, then it
should work fine, providing that you follow the instructions. There's
aversion that works with WMP 11, but I have no experience with it, and
