I don't know if this helps, but I can record shows to my DVR in the living
room with ATT UVerse, using Jaws to set up my recordings. I hope this isn't
too off topic., but that's why I now like UVerse, as opposed to Comcast,
which I no longer have.

I have 3 books on a cd. They are mp3's. Is there any way that I can
get these books from the cd in to itunes so that I can put them on my iphone?

Hello:
That list is dedicated to accessible cell phones. Since many of the Skype
phones use their own USB soundcard drivers, I figured that this, being a
PC-Audio list, would be a good place to ask such a question.

Right, and note that Tom wasn't saying this topic wasn't appropriate for
this list, he was just pointing out another list where you might get some
good information. At least that's the way I read it.

hmm strange, there is the ear remote jack, the headphone jack and a jack for
external mike, the first and later one haven't tryed, just been using the
internal mikes so far. what am wondering is how in the world if the
recording level is set to manual, how to adjust it volume, etc.

lol have to add the other day I went outside, lit up a ciggerette and took a
nice big puff when I played back the recording I made, you could here the
tabaco going threw the ciggerette all crackly lol was kind of neat so I am
happy with the dm520 internal mikes but would like stereo ones as
Very easy, to adjust recording level when set to manual, you press left or
right arrows. 16 levels.
To increase playback monitor volume through headphones while recording, up
and down arrows work in the usual way.

I think that one has to keep in mind that although the quality of these
machines is good their main function is that they are first and foremost
dictation machines, and to expect anything more is simply pushing the
