Yep, no problem with those at all. Actually Goldwave supports just about any
format so long as there are plug-ins around for it to use.

Are you trying to open a MP3 or save to MP3? If saving then select file menu,
select save as and you'll find MpEG MP3 Audio as listed as one of the formats
you can save to.
When opening a file selected All supported formats in the file type of
Goldwave and you should be able to locate MP3
