Hi, Tom.
WMP opens as a separate window for me. You might check if the application is
set to open in a normal window. Go to the desktop icon and press alt-enter
to bring up properties. Tab four or five times to hear the window size
options. On my system, normal is set. If I arrow down, I am

Jayson, the Sirius XM player is not very accessible, regardless of what
screen reader you use. I use jaws, and since they made changes to the
player a few months ago, I can't access it either, or at least not very
well. I've been lucky to actually get in, but then controlling the volume

Me either, I have been trying too and it is a pain. I am paying for online
internet radio and I am a little pissed because it isn't accessable.
The other problem is we can't see the screen on the radio and with the
internet service we could at least know what was playing and who it was by.
Where can I get the latest version of skype talking?
Thanks.

Will skype talking be affected if you have skype scritps already installed
for jaws? Sorry if this is a silly question. Do you need to remove the jfw
scripts first?

I phoned Sirius/XM and gave them a piece of my mind.
I did it in a nice way.
The gentleman Paul for whom I spoke to is making a note about the
inaccessibility of there player.
Hope something gets done.
Just cancel your online account.
That is what I had to do.
I'm not a happy camper.

Hello Kim and list: I hope the Sirius-XM suits are listening, for I know of
other people who have written (and called) them; still that on line player
remains inaccessible! I fear that the only language they will understand is
loads and loads of folks canceling they On Line subscription!

Hi all.
I agree that it's crummy for the site not to work for those of us who use
screen readers. Trouble is XM/Sirius thinks they're improving things when
they change things. I've used the app on my iPhone to access content, but I
haven't done so for a couple months.
One thing I wish that a
Goes to show, we don't get to do much.
I'm going to pursue this issue.
I am not sure about you guys, but, I am tired of manufacturers screwing up
things for us.

Right. And now there iphone app isn't accessible anymore. I canceled with
them two years ago because I wanted a radio I could actually use. I got
tired of the online idle message BS and get the shows I want through other
means. At least back then you could access the damn thing.

You are right I canceled my account and I'll be darned if I will get an
online account again.
Too much heart ache.
All of you guys who have online accounts, instead of trying and failing,
just cancel your accounts.
Take care.

It is my understanding that their app for iPhone is no longer accessible
with VoiceOver. Is that correct? I was just getting ready to drop one of
my radios for using the app on an iPod iTouch.

I'm not sure whether is it or not. Whenever I go into it it tells me I am
logged in elsewhere and gives me the option to exit or continue. When I click
continue the app just ends.
So I'm not sure if this is their idea of tightening up a hole or whether it's
just a new bug in the app.
I wonder
Hi. I know a few blind sirius subscribers and they say that since the last

Hello Adrian: I tried changing it to Maximum still the same problem (I'm
fine, as long as I don't minimize everything and have the desk top up) but
once I've done that, I can get to everything I have opened, except for

It's accessible if you own a Mac and use an application called Pulsar.
The player is not accessible due to a set of characters you have to
identify. Apparently there's some kind of security issue and the
problem as blind people call it is not going to go away no matter how
many blind people
Sounds good except there really aren't loads and loads of blind people.
