Hi I have a couple of questions regarding switch. I am using the full version of switch, is there any way to minimise the program to the system tray when you are running a long job and why does switch keep installing add-ons, for example, I have just had to restart my pc after switch reinstalled

Yes, that's the way I originally bought Fission, saved quite a bit of money doing things that way. Audio Hijack Pro is an astonishing tool, take command of every aspect of your audio on the computer, hijack it, record it it, redirect it and so on, no audio conflicts to worry about either.

I'm running total recorder on a windows xp machine with window-eyes 8.4. The problem i'm having is that when I try closing the program it doesn't completely close and sits on the task bar. if i try going to it on the task bar and using a shift plus function key 10 to close it it won't close.

Your problem is a bug and you have to go into your processes and close it manually. I would love a solution -- this happens to me all the time, I just close the program either in the process tree, or with a nice powershell command I found. Then once closed you have to restore your system sounds,
