What "next" button do you refer to? When I insert the CD, CDEx retreaves the
data from the database FreeCDDB and I press F8 or F9 to extract the content.
This must be set correctly in the options however.

No. Here's an exchange I had with NCH Software a year ago about how Express Rip
organizes CD tracks. Although it doesn't directly answer your question, it does
so by implication. I share the frustration.

I suggest you go and have a look at the web site to see all the features on
offer for the various versions of the software.

Yep that makes perfect sense and you can do that but I would imagine - having
gone through the App a little more since I last posted to the list - that you
can't output directly to an output device, - for the sake of distinction I
refer to DLNA Servers and DLNA Devices. -

Sorry, really not sure about that. Check out the copy function as I
understand you can actually copy from one source to another, IE; from a DLNA
folder to Dropbox. I would imagine you should also be able to copy from one
DLNA device to another or perhaps you had something else in mind?

This "video redo" thing (I didn't pay attention when this first came across)
is it a video software editing program? Can it fix videos that...let's say
was shot in such a way that it is sideways? Is it accessible enough for a
blind or visually impaired person to actually "fix" a video?

well friends, here's the deal, a couple of days ago i endeavoured to

I'm using Video Redo TV Suite I think its called, has all the editing functions
along with ad detection - though I've never used the latter preferring to do
the ad removal manually - and much more including a whole host of conversion
options etc.

I'm looking at the App now, looks very nice and exactly what a file browser
should be in my opinion.
I can see my DLNA servers now that File Browser has done a scan of my network,
are you able with the File Browser App to specify an output DLNA device? If so

Ah! that's one I'd not heard of, I have some time whilst I await the arrival of
my iPhone 6 so I'll have a play with that, Thanks.

I want to use CdEx. In the settings, I've entered my email address in order
to access the remote freedb DATA BASE; however, when I try ripping a CD and
get the track names and press the next button, they disappear. Is there a
step I'm missing?
Just curious.

I'm helping a friend set up Express Rip. I've gone through all the options
I can find and can't seem to make the ripped tracks appear in the same order
as they appear on the CD. Is there a way to correct this?
Thanks in advance.
Dan
My big favorite is an app called File Browser easily found on the Apple app
store. It supports DLNA along with a bunch of other things like DropBox. As
I recall, I think the latest version now also supports ChromCast, but don't
quote me on that as I haven't used it in a while.
Best regards,
Ric
I use it here all the time thanks to a recommendation from someone on this
list, hello to whoever you are , its been one of the best investments

I've changed the subject to better fit with your question.
You might look at Video Redo. It's pretty simple though it is limited in file
types.

Dear All,
I've been asked by a blind student to recommend a video editing package.
The student in question is very good at making good estimations as to where
video is up to by analysing the audio. So really, I need a video editing
package that works well with the keyboard. ..much in the same w
