I use the Bose OE Sound Link headphones, and the latency is not good at all. There is quite a delay that is annoying. That is why I still use my trusty analog headset for now. I haven't figured out a way to improve the latency. I wish I could, because I want to rid myself of as many connections

You may want to tell your friend to consider the virtual audio cable program. This seemed to work well for me when I tried it out. It does cost money, but you can try it first. The only problem with the trial is every few seconds, a female voice can be heard saying Trial. -Original
