Hi gary,
You'll have to make sure that ogg is supported. Because to decode it
requires different hardware than mp3 does, not all players have it. It must
be specifically supported before it will work properly.

hi gary,
this is a resounding, firm and total no!
Windows media has less quality at 128 kbps than mp3 does at 112. It is not a
good filetype. It is totally bad for you.

Hi kelly,
I was under the impression that D Speech didn't do well when text files were
over a certain size. Have you experienced that? I've got some pretty big
books over here that I've gotta convert, so that's a concern for me. Thanks
for the info, though. I will check it out.

with text sound, is there a way in
gold wave to speed them up without increasing pitch? will wave pad or
audasity do that?
thanks

it easier
to find songs, and you can fit over a hundred songs onto one cd instead of
18. But you do have to have a certain type of cd player to play them.

hi kevin,
thanks for the info. I've got media player 10 working pretty well now. I
still have to do it manually, but it's just a matter of clicking on album
links and it sorts files and renames them.

hi
a possible problem here might be that the speakers are plugged into the
wrong jack. Could be a line in/out jack or some such. I'm not sure, but this
is one thing that popped into my head.
