So as I understand it, the only way to record from line-in is to have it unmuted in the playback options. Am I correct?

Hi. I just got my Creative Volume Control problem solved by uninstalling the Creative software.

But now I can't find a line-in option in the volume control for recording.
I've looked at the properties and tried enabling everything I could think
of, but there's no line-in option. Is it called something else? It shows
up in the playback options just fine.
